How buying on StubOrder works

StubOrder is an independent ticket resale marketplace. Professional sellers list tickets to sports, concerts, theater, and festivals, and StubOrder handles search, the seat map, checkout, and order confirmation. Here is what to expect before you buy.

A resale marketplace, not a box office

Every ticket on StubOrder is resale inventory: tickets a seller already holds and has relisted. Because sellers set their own prices, a listing can be above or below face value, and the lowest price may be a single seat or a partial-view section. StubOrder is not the event organizer and is not affiliated with any venue, team, performer, or box office.

How prices work

Prices move with demand. The opponent or supporting act, the day of the week, how close the date is, and where the seats are all affect what sellers ask, so the same section can cost more or less from one date to the next. Compare listings on the event page, and use the seat map where available to see exactly which section and row a price is for before you choose.

Delivery and entry

Most listings deliver by mobile transfer or instant download; some are shipped as hard stock. The delivery method is shown on each listing before you add it to your cart, and any delivery cost is added at checkout. Mobile tickets are the most common format and are sent so they are ready on your phone for entry.

Fees and secure checkout

Any service and delivery fees are shown before you pay, on the checkout screen, so you see the full total before confirming. Checkout is handled over a secure connection.

If an event is rescheduled, postponed, or canceled

When an event is rescheduled or postponed, existing tickets are normally honored for the new date, and the event page shows the current schedule. If an event is canceled outright, the outcome depends on the event and the seller terms shown at checkout. The event page reflects the latest status we have, so check it and your email for updates.

Frequently asked questions

Is StubOrder a box office?

No. StubOrder is an independent resale marketplace. Tickets are listed by professional sellers, so prices are set by the market and can be above or below face value. StubOrder is not affiliated with any venue, team, performer, or box office.

When are fees shown?

Any service and delivery fees are shown before you pay, on the checkout screen, so the total is clear before you confirm the order.

How are tickets delivered?

Most listings deliver by mobile transfer or instant download; some ship as hard stock. The delivery method is shown on every listing before you add it to your cart.

What happens if my event is canceled or moved?

Rescheduled and postponed events normally keep existing tickets valid for the new date. If an event is canceled outright, the resolution depends on the event and the seller terms shown at checkout. Watch the event page and your email for the current status.

Are the seats in a listing together?

Yes. Seats within a single listing are adjacent unless the listing notes say otherwise. General admission and lawn listings are open areas with no assigned seat and are marked as such.
